a good start here in Western
Washington as far as weather
goes.
We just got over with two weeks
of no rain after so much rain in
December which included flooding.
I feel blessed we didn't have any
flooding where I am at.
I would say that being a tourist
January was a good time to be
here. The temperatures were
about normal being a bit above
freezing. Though December was
great for the mountains it wasn't
as much for January. For those
who like to ski weren't able to ski
like they wanted to though can
still do so. The skiing resorts
are less than two hours away
from Seattle and in many cases
only about an hour.
I did have to scrape ice off my car
two or three times which isn't bad.
Of course seeing sights of Seattle
and going with North and South
are good. I am sure flooding is
no problem although who were hit
by it are trying to rebuild.
February we sometimes get snow
in the cities and country side.
A lot of citizens don't care about
driving in it. There are plenty of
hills too.
Have a safe and happy travels.
