Coming Home

I am returning from my trip
to Washington DC and Virginia. It was a good time and aching
for more travel.

The question is having support
from others whether money or
staying with them. Writing about my adventures and how
you can be helped in your travels.

I am sure everyone has a bucket list when coming to
travel. Of course you want
to travel as well.

As an older person traveling
includes finding bathrooms
and places to eat well as lodging.

Take Washington DC when visiting museums they have bathrooms. Walking outside
it is hard to find bathrooms. If you are driving keep eyes opened for gas stations to
use bathrooms. In the area
of the museums there are
not many restaurants. The
museums have cafeterias
downstairs however a bit
expensive. The museums
are no cost to go in but they
make up in the cafeteria.

Outside the museums you
can find small trucks who
serve drinks. Food usually
on another truck. Not sure
whether food cost as much
on the trucks as the cafeteria
since I did buy from the
trucks except ice cream cones.

I took the train into Washington
DC from my brother's in from
McLean Virginia. It was about
a thirty minute. I heard not
recommended to drive into
DC. If you do I believe you must
download an app for DC parking. I heard not cheap either. I saw people riding
bikes around DC however
need an app to unlock the
bikes for rental. I know
because I saw someone
doing so.

I learned the five days in
DC when going to the museums keep your eyes on the Washington Monument
and Capital Building. You should never get lost.

Look more from me about
travel. I will update my
website with new photos
at herbnightingale. com.

Until next time safe and blessings. Enjoy your
travels whether long distance
or short.
