Welcome October

Here we are it is October. Depending
where you are it the middle of fall
or spring.

Here in Western Washington October
is the beginning of the raining season.
Right now it is low temperature for
the summer instead.

In recent years the weather seemed
better however it had to be the first
half of the month like it is here now
The average rain fall is a little over
four inches or 10.16 centimeters
The last two years was  a little
under four inches or ten centimeters.

Looking to November and December
the average is higher just over six
inches or fifteen centimeters. January
has almost as much rain as well. As
far as snow goes January has the
highest average over four inches.
Those four months make up over
half of the rain fall  for the year.
Along with lower temperatures is
why many go elsewhere to live
our travel. Many seniors go to
Arizona when winter comes.

I would say coming here  these
next four months  this would be
the best time unless you like
to go skiing then we have the
Cascade and Olympic Mountains.

So enjoy your October whether
staying home or traveling.
