Spring Is Here

It is supposed to be spring now here in
the Pacific northwest.

March has been a rainy month after
January  and  February  had been
mild. It makes me enjoy the sun
when it comes out.

Despite the rain the  temperatures
have been good though with wind
along with low humidity  we may
not think that way.

I suppose you think I  may not be
seeing my area for travel. The best
months are ahead of us for sure.

Besides Seattle  our largest city
we have the waters of Puget Sound
and the San Juan Islands.

We have the ocean on the south
coast along with both the Cascades
and Olympics.  If you are a hiker
there are plenty  of places to do
so.

Currently  both have snow however
with spring it will start melting soon.
As teenager I hiked the Olympics
often and the Cascades are good
too. There are a lot of spots to hike
short for the day or longer ones for
those who want to for several days.

Safe travels. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Travel Is the Way To Go

There are so many places
to see in this great world we
live in.

Our lives as so short that we
won't see it all however taking
the time to do so should be
refreshing.

I know not everyone enjoys
travel however the least is
to travel in the area you live
in.

I have seen some of Washington
state however I haven't seen all
of it. Taking a day to visit a
nearby area will help.

Going on a trip to another area
of your country is good too.
Search out the places that
interest you. Obviously you
can visit placed that are popular
is good however you might find
a gem that pleases you too.

May you be blessed wherever
you travel.

The Raining Season

This year March is  having a raining
month here in Western Washington.
Not easy  on the locals.

Many of the locals are in Arizona
or Hawaii. Those who are baseball
fans are likely  in Arizona  for spring
training.  If you are a baseball  fan
then Arizona  so a good spot to visit.
I think it is too hot in the summer.

Coming up next week  will be the
college men's  and  women's
basketball  tournament.
Seattle  is  going to be one of the
spots for the first two rounds.

The regional finals are going to
be in San Francisco,  Newark
New Jersey  to name a couple.
The men's final four will be in
San Antonio,  Texas while Tampa
Florida will hold the women's
final four.

So in Seattle  we will see some
fans who will come into town
to see their college play. The
arena is in the Seattle  Center
with the famous Space Needle
nearby.

So March is a busy month
however a visit here will be
seeing some rain. Hope to
see the sun come out
sometimes.

Wherever  you  travel  put
the Seattle Washington  to do
list in July anyway.  It is the
best weather of the year.
In most recent years May
has been a good time to
come. So many places to
see.

Thanks for checking  here.
Be safe.

March 4

Have you ever thought  what this
day means when you say it.

When my cousin  Peggy's daughter
Erin got married  it happened on
this day. On the wedding invitation
it said that the day is a commandment.

So you say March fourth than you
are actually  doing it. This certainly
has been in my mind to remember
each year. It is funny to I think.

I have heard some believe we are
in springtime.  I heard one lady
friend it is spring even if is snowing.

So have you made your travel plans
yet for the year or on holding pattern
right now.

For those here in Western Washington
they started by going to Hawaii or
Arizona to get out of the cold.

I find it interesting  the temperatures
in the 30s feels colder than when I
was in Ottawa and Gatineau  at
Christmas time though the temperatures
there was a lot colder. The conclusion
we have low humidity and it is more
windy here too.

So if you are traveling this month have
yourself a good time. Whether the
temperatures  are cold or warm have
a positive  attitude.

My thought came we should think
we are on vacation  whether we are
or not. May your March be well
and go forward.

Coming Up March

February  we got our first snow for
the winter here in Western Washington.

Where I live wasn't  a whole lot though
the trees were certainly  looked great
on them. We are a bit  shield from
snow then some of the places nearby.

North and east  of  Seattle  had some
good amount of snow.

Remember  I went to Ottawa and
Gatineau  for Christmas  and  New
Year's.  They got a good amount
of snow and so did Montreal.

Montreal  had over two feet in
72 hours a couple of  weeks
ago. It actually  was a record
snow fall for Montreal.

My nephew  Ken  who lives
outside of Montreal said it
was like landing a mountain
right inside the city.

Here our mountains are getting
some good  snowfall. There
is several  good places to
ski if you are  into that or
snowboarding.

March means we are closer
to spring. Our clock will move
ahead in March.

Whether you want snow or
have sun may you have a
wonderful time traveling.

Hello February

Here we are now into February.  Speaking
to some people  they felt January  was a
slow month. I  guess it was in some regard.
I  feel  as though  I was just in Quebec  for
the holidays.

I may take a trip  to  Vancouver  British
Columbia  Canada next week.  It isn't
sure thing  yet. As a child I visited there
on several occasions.  I  remember  some
things while others I  don't.

My grandmother,  aunt and  uncle along
with three cousins lived in Vancouver.
My grandmother  passed away when I
was a teenager, uncle and aunt later as
an adult.  My cousins still live in British
Columbia  however not in Vancouver.
I have shown posts of my visits to see them.
I saw them in early  September last year.

British Columbia is a lovely province. There
is a lot to see besides the city of Vancouver.
Two of my cousins live in the Caribou which
is about the middle of the province.  The third
cousin lives in the Okanagan. What a beautiful
see too. Go west there is Victoria  on  Vancouver
Island. Many other places to see too. I  hope
to visit in the near future too.

Vancouver  is a beautiful  city. It is a bit costly
to live there and I  am  sure  to visit as well.
Knowing  someone who  lives there would
help. I  will  in a future post tell more about
Vancouver  especially  if  I am visiting.
May your traveling be good wherever you
go.

Hello Everyone and January 2025

I hope you had a wonderful  holiday  season.
My trip was good to  Quebec.  The flights
were stressed however not as bad as for others.

I enjoyed my time with my sister and her
family.  It did get down to minus 17 degrees
celsius  for all go on that scale. For those
use Fahrenheit  that is zero.

I  was able to go out for a walk with my
sister at minus 17 for about 5 miles.
I wore clothing that helped me out.
I don't  recall ever being at that low a
temperature.  The weather did go up
to above zero celsius  before I left.

The hardest time and I  didn't  do a lot
of walking was when it did warm up
and the paths became icy. I  didn't
walk a lot then. I  prefer snow or nothing
at all. I  love seeing the snow covering
the grass. My nephew Ken his dog Buster
loved playing in the snow.

Buster is a good dog however tiring when
he looked with his puppy eyes for food. I
told him to go token since you are his dog.
Lol.

I was able meet my grandnephew Findley.
He is  the  son of  Connor and Rae. Connor
is Ken's younger brother and they are my
sister's  two boys.

I look forward  to  another visit however it
will be like in August sometime.

Quebec  has more humidity  than here in
Washington  State so though it was cold
with wind and all here in January feels
colder than my trip. I  wore three layers
of clothing in Quebec  which I  haven't
done here though I may.

If you like snow Quebec  is a good place
to visit.

Here We Are In August 2026

Do you remember what you have done  in August of the past it what you are  doing this year. Some people travel in August. They are ones  who...
