Heading Into September

With school either started or will be soon
September is a good month to travel.
Being the off-season the plane fares
will be down and so will the visitors.

At the end of September I will be
flying to Washington DC then to
Virginia to spend ten days at my
brother's.

I will be meeting my latest grandniece
Sophie on this trip. While I am there
she will turn three months old.

The weather will cool down too. I
hope not a rain either. Whatever
the case a good time.

Oh yes this trip is a direct flight
instead a layover in New Jersey.

Continue your travel and enjoy.

Looking At August

Here in Western Washington we have
started with some rain however having
sun is good too.

Last Tuesday I took a drive to
Centralia Washington which was
just over an hour from my place

It is south and about 30 minutes
past our state capital in Olympia
which is a good place to visit
as well.

Centralia is a small city which I
have gone by several times going
south on Interstate 5.

It is pretty flat with some trees and
the Chehalis river which I took a
short hike too.  Before Centralia
there is the city of Chehalis as well.
They are twin cities with Centralia
being the larger one.  The population
of Centralia is just over 19 thousand
while Chehalis is just under 8 thousand.

Continue more south the next two
cities are Longview and Kelso.  Longview
has a population of over 38 thousand
while Kelso has just under 13 thousand.
Longview you can exit to go to the Oregon
coast. The Oregon coast sticks out past
Washington State. A great place to visit.

The Chehalis River.

Welcome To August

Here we are in August already.
For those who were able to
travel and have a wonderful
July in the process.

Here in Western Washington
the weather was good for
the most part.  To be honest
I have never seen so many
cloudy mornings in July.
Fortunately the sun was out
before noon.

August is interesting here since
I have never know how it will
turn out. That might be a good
thing though.

I figure those who live here if
the plan is to go elsewhere I
would choose August over
July.  I hope if you have plans
to come here next summer
do it in July though August
is a good choice too.

There is so much to see here
depending on your time visit
Seattle and Mt. Rainier at
least. Get a map of the area
and decide what you want to
see.

You want to visit small towns
which includes shopping there
are a lot whether going north
or south of east or West of
Seattle.

Anyway whatever plans you have
for August have a good and blessed
time.
