Looking At June

The first half of June was real nice
here in Western Washington. To
travel here This time of June is
good.

Second half has had a little bit of
rain however still good to travel
around.

A couple weeks ago I traveled
to Port Townsend. It is located
on the Olympic Peninsula. About
20 miles from the Hood Canal
Bridge.

Downtown which is the waterfront
looks much like it is still back in
time. It looks like the 1950s.

The waterfront there is a ferry
that you can take to Whidbey
Island. To be honest I have
never took the ferry myself.
Maybe I will someday. The
ride is just under 30 minutes.

Many other places to visit
around the Hood Canal. Port
Townsend has an old Fort
you can visit. Has a good
view of the straits as well.

Whatever plans you have
enjoy your summer or
winter if you are in the
southern Hemisphere.
